In fleets the question comes up regularly: is one remote enough for several tippers, or does each vehicle need its own transmitter? The answer depends on your system and your workflow.

Technically possible, with limits

In principle one remote can be paired to several receiver units, as a separate procedure per vehicle. Whether and how many receivers your version supports is in the Meiller manual of your system. The link always applies only to the vehicle within radio range.

Why fleets still use one transmitter per vehicle

In everyday work vehicles often operate simultaneously in different places. A shared remote then quickly becomes a bottleneck and the risk of mix-ups grows. A dedicated transmitter per tipper plus one paired spare in the yard has proven itself.

Procuring several devices affordably

Through our exchange system you equip the fleet economically: 450 euros net per device, up to five devices per order, and for every additional old device sent in you receive 50 euros. On request, everything is handled by invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Can two remotes control the same vehicle?

Yes, depending on the version a receiver unit can know several transmitters, for example a main and a spare device. The Meiller manual of your system covers the details.

Is it a problem when two tippers work side by side?

No. Each link is coded, the receiver only reacts to its paired transmitter. Accidentally controlling the neighbouring vehicle is thereby ruled out.

How do I organise a spare remote?

Order an additional tested device and pair it to the vehicles you want. That way you bridge failures without waiting time.
