When the body no longer lifts, many first think of the hydraulics. Often, however, the cause lies in the radio path between remote and receiver unit. With three simple checks you find out where the problem sits.

Check the remote first

Insert fresh batteries and test from a short distance next to the vehicle. Watch whether the device shows any sign of life at all. If the control reacts to no command, the remote is the first suspect.

Then narrow down the radio path

If available, test a second remote on the same tipper. If the body lifts with it, your remote is faulty and can be repaired. If the second one does not react either, the fault is more likely in the receiver unit or the vehicle.

Do not forget hydraulics and vehicle

If the radio path demonstrably works, the hydraulics, fuses or vehicle electrics come into question. These points belong in a specialist workshop. We repair the remote itself: you receive a fully tested replacement device with a twelve-month warranty.

Frequently asked questions

The tipper lifts only jerkily, is the remote to blame?

Possible. A worn joystick or loose contact can send unclean commands. The cause can just as well lie in the hydraulics. The cross-test with a second transmitter narrows it down.

Can I operate the tipper without radio?

Many bodies have an emergency control on the vehicle. Whether and how it works is in the manual of your body. For continuous operation the repaired radio control is the safe way.

How quickly is the radio control ready again?

Through the exchange system you order a tested device for 450 euros net right away. After payment we ship within one to three business days, worldwide.
