Not all tippers are the same: depending on the body, the hydraulics, operating logic and thus the demands on the radio control differ. A short overview helps you classify your own system correctly.

From three-way tipper to skip loader

The classic three-way tipper empties its trough to the rear or the side. Hooklifts pick up and set down complete containers, skip loaders work with skips on swivel arms. Meiller is one of the best-known manufacturers of such bodies, and many of them are operated by radio.

What the radio control has to deliver

For all types the same applies: the operator must be able to control the movement from a safe distance with a good view of the load. That is exactly what a radio remote like the ISAR 3 delivers. Buttons or joystick issue the hydraulic commands, the receiver unit on the vehicle executes them.

What that means for repair and replacement

Because the systems differ by body and model year, the match between transmitter and receiver unit is crucial. Therefore always tell us the model and type plate. We match the version and deliver a tested device that fits your system.

Frequently asked questions

Does an ISAR 3 fit every Meiller body?

Not automatically, as there are different versions. Using the type plate and photos we check before shipping whether the device fits your system.

My body is older, are matching remotes still available?

Often yes. Through refurbishing and buying used devices we can also offer versions that are hardly available new anymore. Just enquire with your device details.

Does the deposit system apply to all tipper types?

Yes. What matters is the remote model, not the body. You send in your old device and get the 200 euro deposit back.
