A remote that no longer reacts at all stops the tipper immediately. Before you send the device in, a short and orderly check is worthwhile. In the best case it saves time and money.
Step one: check the power
Insert fresh, high-quality batteries and pay attention to the correct polarity. Clean the contacts if you see deposits. Surprisingly often an empty or badly seated battery is the reason a radio control seems dead.
Step two: isolate transmitter and receiver
If available, test a second remote on the same vehicle. If that one does not react either, the suspicion falls on the receiver unit on the vehicle. If the second one works, your remote is faulty. This cross-test often saves an unnecessary shipment.
Step three: arrange the repair
If everything points to the remote, send it in for diagnosis or order a tested replacement device right away. We fully test the electronics and ship within one to three business days with a twelve-month warranty.
Frequently asked questions
Still no response after a battery change, what now?
Then there is most likely an electronic fault. If possible run the cross-test and then send the device in for diagnosis.
Could it be the receiver unit?
Yes. If several remotes do not work on the same vehicle, the receiver unit on the vehicle is usually affected. That part is normally checked by a specialist workshop.
How quickly do I get a replacement?
