The type plate is the identity card of your radio remote: model, version and further details are compactly gathered there. Finding and photographing it makes ordering a replacement a safe matter.

Where to find the type plate

On the remote the type plate or sticker usually sits on the back of the housing. The receiver unit on the vehicle carries its own plate, usually directly on the housing of the unit. Both details together give the complete picture of your system.

Which details matter

The model designation and the version details are important. Based on this data we determine the matching variant and check radio frequency and configuration. Do not copy the details by hand, photograph the plate instead, which avoids transcription errors.

If the plate is missing or illegible

On a site even a sticker suffers. If the plate is worn or gone, photograph the device from all sides and the plate of the receiver unit on the vehicle. In most cases we can still clearly determine the version with that.

Frequently asked questions

Is a photo of the remote alone enough?

Often yes. The identification becomes even more reliable with the plate of the receiver unit, because in the end both sides must match.

Where do I send the photos?

By email to info@control-repair24.de or in the message field of the order form. We get back to you confirming the matching version.

What if I order the wrong version?

That is exactly what we prevent with the matching before shipping. Simply order and include the photos, we check the rest.
