A faulty transmitter does not mean the whole radio system has to be replaced. If the receiver unit on the vehicle is intact, a matching replacement device is enough. That saves workshop costs and time.

The receiver unit stays on the vehicle

The receiver unit is permanently wired to the body and survives the failure of the transmitter unharmed. As long as it works, you neither have to pull cables nor visit a workshop. The replacement is limited to the handheld transmitter.

Determining the matching transmitter

Photograph the type plate of the receiver unit and, if available, of the old transmitter. Based on these details we determine the matching ISAR 3 version and check radio frequency and configuration before we ship.

Pair and get going

You pair the replacement to the existing receiver unit in a few minutes, the procedure is in the Meiller manual. After that the new transmitter controls your tipper as usual. If you have questions about commissioning, we are available by phone.

Frequently asked questions

Does a workshop need to help with the transmitter swap?

Usually not. With an intact receiver unit the one-time pairing is enough and you can do it yourself. Only work on the receiver unit belongs in a specialist workshop.

How do I know my receiver unit is intact?

The cross-test helps: if another paired remote works on the vehicle, the receiver is fine. If none reacts, the unit should be checked.

What happens to my old transmitter?

Send it in as an old device, in any condition. You get the 200 euro deposit back and the device is professionally refurbished instead of disposed of.
