Whether an old device for the deposit refund or a unit sent in for diagnosis: the remote should arrive undamaged. With a few simple steps and normal packing material the device travels safely.
Before packing
Remove the batteries, as they can leak or switch the device on during transport. Wipe off coarse dirt and include a note with your name and order number. That way we assign your shipment immediately and refund the deposit without delay.
Padding correctly
Wrap the remote in bubble wrap or several layers of paper and choose a sturdy box with some clearance. Fill empty spaces so the device cannot shift. The joystick and antenna are the most sensitive points and deserve an extra layer.
Shipping and returns from abroad
Send the parcel by post to our address in Herne. For returns from outside the EU, clearly mark the shipment as a return or repair so no unnecessary import duties arise. If you have questions about the labelling, we help by phone.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to include the original accessories?
No. For the deposit refund and buy-back the remote itself is enough. Please remove the batteries before shipping.
What if the device arrives damaged?
For deposit and buy-back the condition does not matter, you receive your money in any case. Good packing still pays off, especially for devices meant to be repaired.
Who pays the shipping cost for sending in?
You bear the cost of sending in your old device. The compact remote can be shipped cheaply as a small parcel.
